The Challenge

Home services in New Orleans metro is a trust-first business. Homeowners searching for a painter, electrician, or handyman are half-worried they’re about to make a bad decision. The websites and brands they see in the first ten seconds decide who gets called. Source Electric was doing great work and losing calls to competitors who simply looked more professional online.

The old site loaded slowly, didn’t work well on phones, and buried the phone number below the fold. Google Business Profile hadn’t been touched in years. Reviews were coming in but not being asked for systematically. All the fundamentals were leaking.

Our Approach

A website that closes the trust gap in five seconds. Service areas, licensed & insured badges, before/after work, and click-to-call prominence. Everything a nervous homeowner needs to see before they’ll dial a number they don’t know.

Local SEO built for “near me” searches. Location pages for each service area Source Electric covers, LocalBusiness schema, and consistent citations across the trades directories that matter for map-pack ranking.

Review system that compounds. Post-job review requests via text, response protocol for the occasional 1-star, and a widget on the site that keeps the star average visible where it matters.

Source Electric deserved a digital presence that matched the caliber of what they actually do. That’s the whole job.

Services Used

Source Electric project - frequently asked questions

What does a restaurant website need most?

The diner's checklist, instantly: what you serve, what it costs, where you are, and whether you're open right now. Photography does the persuading; Restaurant and Menu schema make sure Google can serve your hours and menu directly in search. Everything else is secondary to those four answers.

How does a new restaurant compete with established New Orleans names?

Through the discovery layer. You won't out-legend the legends, but the map pack, review velocity, and 'near me' searches are meritocratic - a complete Google Business Profile, real photos, fast site, and compounding reviews put a newcomer in front of diners at the exact moment they're deciding.

Does DP1 handle menu changes and updates?

Yes - same-day, usually within hours. Menus, prices, hours, and seasonal specials change constantly in food service, and a stale website actively costs covers. Ongoing management is part of how DP1 works with every restaurant client.
