Rock Star Cotton is a t-shirt company, which means the logo is not just marketing, it is merchandise. A mark that reads well on a website and dies on fabric is a failure.
The client wanted something genuinely distinctive rather than another vector wordmark, and the brand needed to be found in a market dominated by national players with national budgets.
Our Approach
Drawn by hand, not constructed. We hand-illustrated the logo rather than building it digitally, giving it the texture and irregularity that reads as authentic on a garment, the quality separating a shirt someone wears from a shirt someone was given.
