In most cities a restaurant brand competes with other restaurants. In Las Vegas it competes with the entire built environment.
Standing out through volume is impossible, the city always wins on volume. Fire Fly needed an identity that cut through by being more disciplined than its surroundings, and it had to hold up across menus, signage and a market where visitors decide in seconds.
Our Approach
Restraint as the differentiator. In a city saturated with maximalism, confidence reads as restraint. The identity was built to be recognisable at a glance and at distance.
Designed for the actual conditions. It had to work as well on a menu in low restaurant lighting as on a phone screen. The website carried the same discipline, prioritising the two things visitors need: what this place is, and how to get to it.
