Privacy Policy of DP1 DESIGN LLC, New Orleans

This page is the official privacy policy of DP1 DESIGN LLC, a digital marketing agency founded in 2001 and located at 141 Allen Toussaint Blvd. #244, New Orleans, LA 70124. It describes data collection, cookies, analytics, GDPR and CCPA/CPRA rights, and how to contact DP1 DESIGN about privacy: (504) 247-4345 or support@dp1design.com.

Information we collect

DP1 DESIGN LLC (“DP1 DESIGN,” “we,” “us”) collects information in three ways when you use dp1design.com or work with us:

  • Information you give us. When you submit a contact form, request an AI Visibility Audit, subscribe to our emails, or become a client, you may provide your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, and details about your project or marketing goals.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect analytics data - pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and IP address - through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Information from third parties. If you interact with our advertising on platforms like Google or Meta, those platforms may share campaign interaction data with us in aggregate or pseudonymous form.

We collect only what we need to respond to you, deliver services, and understand how our website performs. We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information such as health, financial account, or biometric data through this website.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and deliver the services or audits you request
  • Send proposals, invoices, reports, and service communications to clients
  • Send marketing emails you have opted into - every one includes an unsubscribe link
  • Measure and improve our website, content, and advertising performance
  • Protect our website against fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (client services), consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and legitimate interest (site analytics, security).

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use three categories:

  • Essential cookies - required for the site to function and for security (for example, Cloudflare’s protection cookies). These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies - Google Analytics 4 cookies that help us understand traffic and page performance in aggregate.
  • Marketing cookies - advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel that help us measure ad campaigns and show relevant ads.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we present a consent banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential categories before they load. Rejecting analytics and marketing cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of vendors that may process data on our behalf:

  • Google Analytics 4 - website traffic measurement (Google LLC)
  • Meta Pixel - advertising measurement and audiences (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
  • Cloudflare - content delivery, performance, and security
  • Form and email marketing providers - processing of contact form submissions and delivery of email newsletters you subscribe to

Each vendor operates under its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with us. We configure these tools to minimize data collection - for example, IP anonymization where the tool supports it.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the pixel disclosures above. We share personal information only with: the service providers listed in this policy, acting on our instructions; professional advisers such as accountants and attorneys where necessary; and authorities when the law genuinely requires it. If DP1 DESIGN is ever involved in a merger or sale of assets, client and contact data would transfer under confidentiality protections consistent with this policy.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it. Contact form inquiries are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your project. Client records, contracts, and invoices are retained for 7 years to satisfy tax and legal obligations. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4 settings (14 months). Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe, after which it is suppressed or deleted.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to rectify inaccurate data, to request erasure, to receive your data in a portable format (portability), and to object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing. You may also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. DP1 DESIGN does not sell personal information and has not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

To exercise any right, email support@dp1design.com or call (504) 247-4345. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires (generally 30–45 days).

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data security

We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity: TLS encryption on all pages of dp1design.com, access controls that limit data to team members who need it, reputable vendors with their own security programs, and multi-factor authentication on our administrative systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep risk low and will notify affected individuals of any breach as the law requires.

International transfers

DP1 DESIGN is based in the United States, and the vendors we use store data primarily on U.S. servers. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where the GDPR applies to a transfer, we rely on our vendors’ safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect. Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
